Sevens: from controls to your first round

Begin with the basic rule, then follow the result of your action. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. The game area remains available above the explanation. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.

Four-player free Sevens with three local computer opponents. This table uses the seven-of-diamonds opening and low Aces.

Take a closer look while playing

Keep the goal in view while choosing a move. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.

Understand the aim

The board gives you the information needed for the next action. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.

Follow these playing steps

  1. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
  2. The holder of 7♦ must play it first. Other suits can open with their own seven.
  3. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.
  4. Play a legal card whenever possible. Passing is allowed only when no card fits.
  5. The first player with an empty hand wins the round.

Making selections and moves

A careful first move helps you understand the round. Tap an enabled card from your hand. The suit rows show cards already played. Use Pass only when it is enabled.

A useful example

A careful first move helps you understand the round. After 7♥ is opened, 6♥ or 8♥ can be played. 5♥ must wait until 6♥ is on the table. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.

One detail worth checking

Check the rule below as you play. A matching rank in another suit does not extend an existing row. Every suit has its own sequence. The game area remains available above the explanation.
